In partnership with the National Park Service, the Argonaut Hotel set aside over 9,000 square feet for this museum, dedicated to West Coast maritime history and the story of Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco.
The museum features interactive technology, Farallon lens, a shipwrecked boat, permanent and changing exhibits and an auditorium, allowing more of the Park's extensive collection to be displayed through educational events, lectures and screenings.
Adjacent to our hotel in San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf, the famous Hyde Street Pier includes a fleet of national historic landmark ships - including the square-rigger Balclutha, the schooner C.A. Thayer, a tug Hercules and the steamboat Eureka.
