What is check in/check out time?
Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 11am.
Do you allow smoking on property? In the rooms?
This hotel is completely non-smoking. We do not allow smoking in our rooms, public areas or the restaurant.
Do you have high-speed wired and/or wireless internet access available?
Wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel and high-speed wired internet access is available in all guestrooms.
Do you have a fitness center? What kind of equipment does it have? What are the hours?
Yes, the fitness center is located on the 2nd floor and is open 24 hours. A room key is needed to enter the fitness center that includes free weights, cardio equipment, and fitness balls.
Do you offer room service? What are the hours?
Yes, room service is available daily. We offer breakfast and dinner (until 10:30pm), and also serve room service brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.
Do you have a business center?
Yes, we have a iPads available for your use. The front desk can assist with copies and faxes.
Do you have a pool?
No, we do not have a pool on-site. Guests who wish to go for a swim can ask the front desk about nearby facilities.
Do you have a spa? What are the hours?
The hotel does not have a spa, but we offer in-room spa services. Please contact the front desk to set up appointments or see our Spa Services page for more information.
What is a Guest Amenities Fee?
To offer our guests an all-inclusive array of amenities and services, we charge a taxable $35 Guest Amenities Fee, per day, for each guest room which includes:
- Concierge, offering services in person and virtually, to help you tailor stays with local experiences and excursions to delight all personalities in your group
- $15 food & beverage credit
- Complimentary in-room coffee
- Complimentary Wi-Fi & local/toll-free calls

What should I do if I lost or forgot something in my room?
Transportation / Directions
Do you have onsite parking? How much is parking? Is it included in my room rate?
Valet parking with in/out privileges is $75+ tax and $85+ tax for oversized vehicles, per day. The parking charge is an additional charge to the room rate and is not included unless otherwise noted in the package.
Do you offer free shuttle service from the airport?
We do not offer a complimentary shuttle service but you may access transportation information at our Maps & Directions page, or by contacting the front desk.

Is your hotel near Oracle Park?
Argonaut Hotel is located conveniently on the city’s waterfront, just an 18-minute drive (with average traffic) from Oracle Park, home of the San Francisco Giants. For our active guests, the baseball field can also be accessed via a nice 3-mile stroll along the entire waterfront.
What attractions or parks are nearby the hotel?
We’re located on the upscale edge of Fisherman’s Wharf – just steps from the action, Pier 39, and the Cruise Ship Terminal in one direction. In the other, we’re next door to trendy boutiques at Ghirardelli Square, the Powell & Hyde Cable Car Turnaround, and relaxed green spaces like the Maritime Garden. Our hotel near Fisherman’s Wharf is also just 3 blocks from Fort Mason, Crissy Fields, North Beach, and the new Presidio Tunnel Tops.

Do you have accessible rooms?
Yes, we have accessible rooms. Some of these rooms include modified bath tubs with bars and added facility, and some include a roll-in shower.
Do you have an early departure fee?
Yes, an early departure fee in an amount of up to one night’s room and tax may apply.
Do you have connecting rooms?
We have some connecting rooms at the hotel. You may make a request for connecting rooms; however, they are not guaranteed.
I booked on a website other than the hotel website and I need to make a change to my reservation. How do I do this?
You need to contact the channel through which you made your reservation.
Is my ID/passport required at check-in?
We do require presentation of a valid government-issued identification at the time of check-in.
What is the minimum age requirement to check into the room?
Special rules may apply for guests under the age of 18. This varies by hotel so please contact the hotel for further information prior to making a reservation.
What is your cancellation/deposit policy?
Reservation must be modified or canceled 48 hours in advance of arrival local time to avoid a late cancellation fee. We require a credit card at the time of booking. Please note that for special rates, packages and certain seasons, this policy is subject to change.

Will your rooms allow rollaways/cribs/playards? Is there a charge?
Yes, some of our rooms will accommodate rollaways for an additional charge of $30 per night, and cribs are free of charge. Due to fire codes, we cannot make them available for all rooms.

What are the hours of the restaurant/bar/lounge?
Blue Mermaid Restaurant is open from 7:00am- 9:00pm, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our brunch in Fisherman’s Wharf is served on Saturday and Sunday from 11:30am – 3:00pm.
Is Blue Mermaid a good spot for happy hour in San Francisco?
Absolutely. Our Fisherman’s Wharf happy hour takes place every Monday – Thursday from 3:30 – 5:00pm and features drink specials and our favorite fresh bites from Blue Mermaid’s award-winning menu.
Can you accommodate private parties? Do you have private dining rooms?

I have questions about my bill. Who do I call?
You may contact the hotel at 415-563-0800 and ask for the accounting department.
What forms of payment are accepted to pay for my room?
We accept all major credit cards. When you check in to the hotel, we will hold the full room and tax total, plus a $100 daily hold for incidental charges. These charges will be released from your account within 5 days after check out. We do not accept checks. If you would like to check in to the hotel with cash, we will ask for a deposit of the full room charges and tax plus $100 per night for honor bar and restaurant charges. You will get the remaining money back at the time of check out.
What if we want to pay with a check or cash? Can we do that, too?
A credit card is required to check in to the hotel and will be used a deposit. Upon checkout you may settle your folio with cash. We do not accept checks.
Pets
Are pets allowed? Are there restrictions for weight, height or types?
Yes, pets are allowed at the hotel with no restrictions.
Do you have pet-free rooms for those with allergies?
Yes, we have designated pet-friendly and pet-free floors.
Do you have pet sitting or dog walking services?
We do not provide pet sitting or dog walking services directly; however, we have recommendations for outside parties at a charge.
How far do you have to walk to take your pet out?
We have a park across the street, Aquatic Park.
Pet Fee
The hotel charges a pet fee of $100.00 per pet, per stay. An additional $100 cleaning fee will be applied for stays of 7 – 30 days.

Yes, Argonaut Hotel is located just 1 mile, a 5 minute drive to both popular event venues. If you will be hosting an event or meeting at either venue, Argonaut Hotel makes for the perfect hotel in Fisherman’s Wharf for your group’s room block.
