Ghirardelli Square
Experience some of the best chocolate in the country, just steps from your room.
Ghirardelli Chocolate dates back to the early 1800s when Domenico Ghirardelli based his confectionary company in San Francisco in what is now Ghirardelli Square. After the company relocated to San Leandro, a group of San Franciscans bought the property and converted it into a mixed-use space with restaurants and shops. You can, of course, find many ways to consume the famous Ghirardelli Chocolate here today.
Ghirardelli Square has National Historic Register status, ensuring that the area will remain the lively hub that it is today.
